DIVISION OF YOUR TASKS

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of assignments, where you will perform audits, reviews and compilations missions, draft financial statements and prepare corporate, personal and trust tax returns while learning CPA standards .

Certification

  • Provide accounting and tax compliance services to private clients for notice, review and audit engagements

  • Advise clients on planning opportunities, tax strategies, reporting and compliance issues

  • Design, development and delivery of the final report and/or presentation to the client

  • Review of personal income tax returns

 

Client management

  • Providing clients with comprehensive business plans, financial solutions and practical business advice

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers

  • Communicate effectively with our customers, government agencies and partners​

IDEAL PROFILE

  • Graduate or undergraduate student with an accounting specialization

  • CPA auditor title or registered in a CPA program (asset)

  • Relevant experience of 1 to 3 years in an accounting firm

  • ​Experience in managing and reviewing compilation and review files (asset)

  • Knowledge of audit procedures (asset)

  • Experience in personal taxes (asset)

  • Proficiency in financial softwares (CaseWare/CaseView, Taxprep, etc.) and Excel skills

  • Understanding of the reality and needs of companies in the innovation sector​​

  • Good analytical skills, ability to carry out tax or accounting research to form an opinion

  • Desire to actively participate in the growth of the firm

  • Excellent interpersonal relationships

  • Professional and ethical behavior

  • Functional bilingualism

 

NICE TO HAVE

  • Full-time : 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday*

  • Part-time : schedule to discuss

  • Salary : $40,000 to 90,000$ depending on your experience

  • Hybrid mode: teleworking days

  • Summer schedule for full-time employees

*During busy periods, which extends from January to the end of May, the schedule increases to 40 hours/week. In exchange, you benefit from your Friday afternoons throughout the summer period (for full-time employees).
